„The visit of the New Order resembles the emotional experience of a festival!“
The New Order is a premium event for a very select clientele on the part of the exhibiting manufacturers but also the visitors. Our claim: We want to create a platform for the creation of new and the maintenance of old business relationships. But this should be done in a lively and versatile way! The visit of the New Order is like the emotional experience of a festival! We want to touch our visitors and exhibitors and reflect what shapes our consumer behavior today: a diverse, open and colorful lifestyle, driven by a desire for new brands, products and trends. At the heart of it all is our curiosity, which is not limited to a single industry. We are equally interested in interior, design, beauty, food & lifestyle. It is with great pleasure that we discover new big and small labels that tell us their very own story while pursuing contemporary and sustainable values.
We do not think in terms of “segment depth” and therefore leave the traditional product – and industry categorization at trade shows
At the New Order, our exhibitors present themselves analogously to a contemporary concept store. Here Products from the most diverse areas come together, united by a common passion, brand attitude and demand for quality and design.

However, we are breaking up the previously rigid concept of trade fairs and presenting ourselves in an equally attractive way for the public and trade media, influencers, bloggers and also the end customer. This will take place simultaneously on all festival days but in an area separate from the trade area.

Distribution channels, information procurement and consumer behavior have changed significantly. A trade fair must reflect these developments and set new impulses! Our contribution: the New Order sees itself as a 360 degree communication platform! For our exhibitors, this means that in addition to a pure live presence in the form of their stand, they receive additional communicative services in selected print, digital and social media. Our exhibitors should be able to tell their story, because we want to learn more about their values, philosophy and motivation! For this purpose, we have teamed up with renowned companies with the aim of combining our expertise in live, digital and social communication.

It is basically open to international companies from the industries interior accessoires, home textiles, fashion accessoires, kids, garden, kitchen, publishing houses, table culture, beauty, food, gifts and paper. The condition to exhibit is an invitation, which we as festival organizers issue together with a committee of leading and representative minds from trade, media and industry. Of course, you can apply for an invitation. Prerequisite for this are an own design development, a clear brand and product identity, Product development that thinks in terms of collections, uniqueness and a specialized trade-oriented & selective distribution system.

Our goal are 3000 – 5000 visitors from non-branch or small-branch retailers with their own profile, industry knowledge, market and brand sensitivity and the greatest possible passion for what they do. In addition, we address bloggers, influencers, audience – and trade media.
„At the New Order we want to inform, stimulate and provide lasting inspiration, and we want to do so in a stylish setting!“
We love our coffee from a good machine, our lunch can consist of a healthy but varied bowl, and we like to discover our new favorite products in the urban concept store, which presents its products in a stimulating and diverse range of products. The New Order can do all that! We are a festival that picks you up holistically!

Who is behind the New Order?

Behind the New Order are Jennifer Reaves, as responsible managing director, Dieter Hofmann, founder of the international design fair blickfang and Florian Berger, founder of donkey Products and the brand agency &milk. Together they founded DesignFest GmbH in September 2020 with the aim of reinventing the trade fair format! In addition to the New Order, DesignFest GmbH has also developed DesignFest, the successful lifestyle experience marketing platform for B2C communication. Creative directors of New Order are Eva Marguerre and Marcel Besau, with their design studio Besau & Marguerre, based in Hamburg and awarded by the Federal Republic of Germany.
